sims2defaults | 10 Years of Defaults! Updates

Before we post the regular updates, we just want to say thank you to everyone who has helped keep the database going over the past decade! 10 years ago, on the day, the Database was officially opened, put together by a different team of people. The torch has since been passed onto us, and we are doing our best to make the Database the helpful resources that the founders wanted.

Other than just regular updates, we've tried to make some improvements to the site. Over the past year we've started adding swatches to some posts, so you can clearly see what and how many recolours there are for outfits, or what different hat/accessory options you get for hairs.

We've also recently added pages for young adults, since some outfits are for young adults only and therefore don't need to be on the adult masterposts. There are now also replacements for the young adult clone outfits, which wasn't really a thing 10 years ago as the method for enabling them in the CAS catalog didn't exist. Now, those clones have somewhere to be without cluttering up the adult section!

Another project we are working on is putting together template files for default replacements. These would contain extracted 3D ID referencing files, emptied out, and 3D ID referencing files, cleaned up. Hopefully that will help streamline the process for creators, letting us all have even more options for everything we want to replace!
